Aron Govea is a Mexican guitar player and composer, born in Guamúchil in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico. He studied the guitar and composition. The Sinaloa government awarded him five commissions for concerts, symphonies and string quartets. He performed in the USA, Europe, Russia, Central America and many Mexican cities.  He has released two CDs – "la teoría del caos" (1999) and "Corazón herido" (2004) – and composed music for theatre, dance and multimedia performances.  The essence of Mexican and Spanish guitar playing traditions can be heard in his music. His guitar compositions are mostly dominated by the rhythms of Mexico and Latin America like: Huapango, Son, Rumba. He combines the Mexican tradition with jazz, flamenco and Latin in a very unique way.  The last year's festival featured this musician's solo concerts. This year he's bringing a band and dancer Lillye Rembeau, who specializes in the Spanish folk dance style called zapateado (zapato meaning shoe in Spanish), which is characterized by a rhythm punctuated by the dancer's heels. Besides Aron, the support band is composed of guitarist Polo Carrillo and cajón player Juan Bojorquez.
